Tom’s experience hiking to The Pioneer Names Trail:
The Pioneer Names Trail is about 1/2 mile long in Snow Canyon State Park.
It takes you along some of the sandstone walls along a sandy trail.
Near the north end of the trail there are some pioneer names that have been etched into the sandstone.
Dogs are not allowed on any unpaved trails in Snow Canyon State Park.
Trail Info: The trailhead starts right next to the road. As you enter the park there is a nominal park fee. They should give you a map. The trailhead is close to the south entrance at the bottom of Snow Canyon State Park.
